At voknix, we are committed to delivering transparent, secure, and customer-centric repair services for small household appliances throughout the United States and the European Union. This Payment & Refund Policy ensures our compliance with U.S. consumer protection laws and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and outlines your rights and responsibilities when using our services.

1. Payment Terms

  • All payments are due upon completion of the repair service unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the visit.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfers, and other secure online payment methods.
  • Invoices will be provided electronically and include a breakdown of labor, parts (if applicable), taxes, and service fees.
  • In case of pre-paid services, the full amount must be paid before the scheduled repair date.
  • Late payments may incur a penalty of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.

2. Secure Transactions

  • All payment data is processed using industry-standard encryption via trusted third-party providers.
  • We do not store credit card details on our servers, ensuring full PCI compliance.
  • Your personal and payment information will only be used for service-related purposes and never shared without your consent.

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our service, you may request a revision or refund within 14 days of service completion.
  • Refund or correction requests must be accompanied by a clear description of the issue and may include photo evidence or a technician’s report.
  • Our support team will review your claim and respond within 5 business days.

4. Eligibility for Refund

  • You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:
    • The repair was not performed according to the agreement or failed to resolve the issue.
    • The appliance remains non-functional due to the service provided.
    • You cancel the service in accordance with our cancellation terms (see Section 5).
  • We reserve the right to offer a free correction or re-service before initiating a refund.

5. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your scheduled service at least 24 hours before the appointment without any charges.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the estimated cost.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
    • The appliance malfunction is unrelated to our repair work.
    • The device was misused or damaged after the service was performed.
    • The issue resulted from wear and tear, age, or improper maintenance.
  • Custom or special-order parts are non-refundable unless defective or not delivered as described.

7. EU Consumer Rights

  • EU customers are protected under Directive 2011/83/EU and may withdraw from the service contract within 14 days of entering it, provided the service has not yet been fully completed.
  • If the service has begun with your consent during the withdrawal period, a proportionate fee may apply for the portion of work completed.
